JSC "Fortera" was founded in 1995. Company offers a wide range of artificial surfaces for basketball and football grounds, tennis courts, running tracks, hockey, golf grounds, and other sport and recreation facilities.

All coatings have quality and conformity certificates, applicable in European Union.

JSC "Fortera" have all the necessary licenses, allowing it, as main contractors to engage in construction activities and is regularly attested by the Environment Ministry of Lithuania.

JSC "Fortera" carry out orders of various sports organizations. Here is a list of important sport facilities that were installed in cooperation with:

• FIFA, UEFA, LFF - football fields in Kaunas (Nacional Football Academy), Kėdainiai (City stadium), Panevėžys (Football Academy), Vilnius (LFF stadium );
• Lithuanian Sports Department – artificial turf in Vilnius "Sportima" football arena;
• NBA and the Support Fund of Lithuanian men's basketball team - a basketball courts In Vilnius, Kaunas and other cities and regions;
• International and Lithuanian Olympic Committees and Lithuanian Hockey Federation - Šiauliai hockey field.

JSC "Fortera " in cooperation with the Lithuanian municipalities is involved in the program sponsored by European Football Federation (UEFA) and the Lithuanian Sport Department for installing small artificial surface football playgrounds. These playgrounds are not only for football, but for other sports such as volleyball, handball, basketball too.

During its lifetime JSC "Fortera" has installed more than 500 thousands sq. m. of football fields, 80 thousands sq. m. of universal playgrounds  70 thousands sq. m. of tennis courts, 50 thousands sq. m. of basketball courts,  30 thousands sq. m. of running tracks.
